DenseLight hiring to expand the workforce in Year 2020
Despite the economic downturn due to the COVID-19, DenseLight Semiconductors continues to hire and expand our workforce.
With rapidly evolving technology, companies like DenseLight need to continue to stay ahead of the curve. DenseLight forms a key part of the Photonics supply chain with R&D and design, wafer fabrication, manufacturing, sales & marketing all housed in Singapore. The ability to do end to end manufacturing allows us to meet this ever changing technology landscape. To meet these demanding challenges, we need to ensure we bring in and nurture the right talent to help us provide leading edge solutions that in turn enable our customers in the Sensing and Data Communications Markets. to excel and win in their market.
Among the new roles being created, more than half of the hiring are for professionals in the Technical Sales, Engineering and Research & Development functions. In addition, DenseLight is recruiting young talent through the SGUnited Traineeships Programme with plans to convert suitable trainees to permanent employees. We believe in nurturing the Singapore talent and we hope to provide them with valuable work life experience, giving them a strong start in the labour market when the economy recovers. DenseLight will also continue to participate in the internship programme with the tertiary institutions. We want to give students the opportunity to experience the world of work and how they can apply their academic skills.
These programs are also part of DenseLight's efforts to give back to the community, to build the right pool of talent during these challenging times, and ensure that university graduates have access to avenues to build up their experience.
