Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary

• To optimize the resources and materials planning of the production by coordinating with other departments related to production to achieve uninterrupted production flow to meet monthly and quarterly operations and shipment targets towards customer satisfaction.
• To coordinate the supply of raw materials required for production to avoid any disruption to the production schedule and ensure the customers’ orders are duly met on delivery commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate production material requirements with Merchandising / Operations teams to assure adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging components
• Responsible for accurate raw materials, WIP and finished goods inventory levels
• Responsible for preparation of reports for the end of month (inventory, raw materials, and scrap)
• Supervise receiving of incoming inventory including raw materials, WIP, packaging components, etc.
• Supervise final packing, and ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy. Arrange shipment to customer and other outbound shipment.
• Liase with external Sub Contractors to follow up on progress to ensure smooth delivery of the final product
• Follow up on quarterly Sub Contractors performance reports.
• All other reasonable duties, as assigned.

Qualification Guidelines

• Minimum Education
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Planning
• Specific Knowledge / Skills
  • Possesses good communication skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Quality and Operations.
